Mark Hertzberg - President
Mark started his EMS career in Brooklyn, New York at a small volunteer service in the 1970's. He began working for New York City EMS (before it was FDNY based) in 1983. After being hired, he quickly entered Paramedic School and became a Paramedic in 1984. After many years of service to the City of New York, a work related injury forced his early retirement. He took his skills and knowledge to the streets and starting selling stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs to EMTs and Paramedics across New York City. This was the beginning of Medical Warehouse! We are now a full line distributor of EMS Equipment and Supplies.
Mark is a lifetime HAM operator (WA2IZQ) and can be found "chatting" on the airwaves across the Northeast! You can find him on the local Danbury Repeater (147.300+ PL100). His favorite state is Maine and he has a love for Whoopie Pies!
Debbie Hertzberg - Vice President
Debbie and Mark share more than just a last name - they share a passion for EMS! Many people don’t know but Debbie was also an EMT for a Brooklyn based community volunteer ambulance service and a firefighter for her upstate volunteer service. She loves the wintertime and spending time with her family on Long Island. Debbie primarily takes care of administrative, personnel and accounting matters but will take on any task (even taking out the garbage!).
She loves vacationing in Maine with Mark. She collects Gluten/Dairy-Free Recipes and when she finds a great Pumpkin Bread she freezes it and eats it throughout the year!
